This statement outlines Amadeus' policy on the privacy of individuals whose data are processed and/or stored by Amadeus as a result of our provision of services to the travel and tourism industry. What kind of data does Amadeus collect and how do we collect data about you and your use of the website?

• Amadeus obtains consumer information from travel agencies, airlines, travel suppliers, corporate travel departments, and other travel related companies with which Amadeus has a legal or business relationship.

Information collected includes names, postal addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, credit card information, and certain preferences you have depending on the services or information you request.

•  Information may be also collected when you visit the Amadeus.com website. In this regard, we also ask you for personal information in a variety of circumstances:

- when you register with us, subscribe to our newsletter, enter competitions or register for promotions; or
- when you take part in surveys or provide us with feedback.

How do we use/process your data?

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable local law and regulations regarding data privacy.

If you are a travel and tourism customer, we will disclose your data to our partners for fulfillment of your booking requests.

We will not disclose your data to any third parties except where necessary for the purposes of fulfilling any bookings, purchases or requests that you make on the website, through our customer service team, for credit checks or fraud prevention, or as otherwise described in this statement. We may disclose your information if required by any applicable law, subpoena, or regulation. We may also disclose your data to third parties and professional advisors acting on our behalf who are obliged to keep that data confidential.

How do we secure your data?

Personal data will be safeguarded from unauthorised use, disclosure, destruction and alteration by physical, technical and organisational security measures that are appropriate to the risks, such as accidental loss or damage or unauthorised access, presented by the processing.

To make Amadeus work even better for you, we also use 'cookies' to collect information about your use of the website. To establish how customers reach our site, we collect information through cookies. No personal information (i.e. that can identify you) is collected during this process.

Statement regarding information from minors

Our services are not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any minor.

Upon written request and to the extent required under applicable law, Amadeus or our partners, as appropriate, will inform you about which of your personal data is processed by Amadeus. If any such data should be found to be incorrect, we will correct that information at your request.
