What would you like to see available first before the next volcanic cloud disruption
The results of our poll show that 75% of our readers would like to see one ticket for the whole journey with different railways while 25% would like to see just European schedules.
This would be a great step forward to providing a no-nonsense trip experience, rather than booking/buying/ticketing in different places and on different trains - especially when you are travelling over a few countries.
The Amadeus Total Rail Forum in November will take a closer look at this to understand the real traveller needs during this period and what are the quick wins or steps forward to making rail travel more visible and more accessible. If this is on the horizon again then as Darwin says "its not the strongest but those that adapt better to change that survive".
