We have been delivering more rewarding journeys for more than 30 years. Helping travel providers and sellers to better meet customers needs with our technology and traveler understanding. Our customer success is outlined in our growth performance outlined in the Amadeus Global Report 2017.

Our distribution value proposition

Travel sellers are facing fierce competition. New players such as Google and Facebook have the power to influence billions of consumers and direct them to specific providers. How do we help travel sellers to face competition and reach a larger travel audience? Our tailored technology solutions help them to respond to change, to better understand traveler's needs and personalize their offering, while maximizing every sales opportunity.

Our open system technology encompasses the full travel experience, from the inspiration and search through to full travel planning and post-trip management. We put the traveler at the center of everything we do, providing them with the consistency, transparency, and choice they demand.

Rail: a growing area

Our goal is to make rail booking easy for any traveler, be it a business traveler connecting from a flight to a train, or an Asian tourist discovering Europe by train. For this, we are powering rail content through our travel sellers' network. And we also provide railways rail technology solutions as rail software for operations. These are our 2017 key milestones:

Shaping the travel industry

Our industry leadership aims to work with other key stakeholders to build a better travel industry.

In rail travel, we are engaged in technology projects co-funded by the European Commission (EU). These include Shift2Rail and the IT2Rail projects, which aim at building a more efficient railway sector and giving consumers and travel companies access to a complete multimodal travel network.

Lastly, we also endorse passengers rights across all transport modes. In this respect, we provide input for the EU rail passenger regulatory initiative
