What’s your role at Amadeus Rail?
I am responsible for delivering the right rail booking solutions to the different travel sellers segments such as business travel agencies, retail travel sellers, and online travel agencies.
Together with my team of rail experts, we deliver high-quality solutions that best fit all travel sellers' needs. We accompany our customers during the whole project, facilitating the integration of our solutions into their existing tools and processes and closing the full operations cycle.
How does your role help make rail booking easier?
Our dedicated expertise in rail helps to transform customer needs into a tailored solution to make rail booking easier. We know how our customers are working functionally and operationally speaking.
What has been the most rewarding moment of working for Amadeus Rail?
My most rewarding moment is when we see the first rail bookings come just after an implementation project. We help travel sellers around the world to make bookings for international rail travel and it is rewarding to see how our job is helping step by step to push the modal shift to rail travel.
What excites you about working in the rail industry?
The digitalization that the industry is experiencing and how Amadeus is a key player in the distribution landscape of rail travel.
What’s your favorite travel destination?
Nothing’s really exotic! Loire Valley is my home place and favorite travel destination. I love to go fishing with my father.
