We’re excited to announce Antoine de Kerviler, as Global Head of Amadeus Rail and Ground Travel. Antoine, who joined us in December 2015 as Director of Research and Development, will take the leadership of the Amadeus business unit. Travel and technology expertise
Antoine has spent many years in the travel industry and brings with him a fresh approach to innovation, based on his wealth of both technical expertise and travel industry experience. He has pioneered new technological approaches at a number of travel companies in order to enrich and improve the customer experience; for example in his recent role before joining Amadeus, as Eurostar CIO, Antoine steered the rail provider through a period of transition, spearheading a customer-focused digital transformation process that embraced CRM, cloud technology and mobile.
A passion for technology and innovation
Antoine’s passion for technology innovation has been fostered throughout his time in the rail and airline industries, as well as his experience working with technology start-ups. Antoine joined Eurostar from Corsair International, the second-largest French airline, and part of the TUI Travel Group, where he was CIO. Antoine was also previously director of quality and information systems for the Swiss airline, Baboo, and founder and CEO of Air Turquoise, a start-up, low-cost regional airline. Antoine has also served on the board of a web agency and has acted as a mentor to entrepreneurs.
A vision for the rail future
Antoine’s innovation philosophy is ultimately focused on:

In his role as Global Head of Rail and Ground Travel, Antoine will bring this customer-focused philosophy to bear on Amadeus solutions for rail companies and travel sellers. He will play a key role in keeping us one step ahead of the curve in driving innovation and creativity around the customer experience.
