From July 10th to July 13th, Amadeus Rail attended the UIC’s 8th World Congress on High-Speed Rail in Philadelphia. Thomas Drexler, Global Head of Amadeus Rail presented “Making rail travellers into customers”. Take a look at this presentation now.
The event with over international 1000 delegates was a success on its first edition in the US. Ray LaHood, Secretary for transport and Michael Nutter, the mayor of Philadelphia speeches showed how committed the US remain in making a big step forward for High-Speed Rail to take off:

The event's opening forum was a roundtable of all the key high-speed railways across the globe. Facts and figures on how high-speed rail is progressing and which countries were making some serious investment. Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, director-general of UIC moderated the session.
Parallel sessions took place during the 2 days of interesting presentations from railway companies to suppliers, out of 400 entries only a handful made it forward to be presented and Amadeus Rail was selected for one slot, here is what Thomas Drexler had to say:
