Amadeus Rail Display provides access to content  from Deutsche Bahn

Amadeus Rail Display now provides access to French travel agencies to the entire domestic content from Deutsche Bahn, making Amadeus the only GDS to offer tourism professionals a multi-provider rail booking tool.

At the IFTM-Top Resa event, Amadeus and Deutsche Bahn announced a new step in their collaboration initiated more than 20 years ago: all French travel agencies that are Deutsche Bahn accredited  and equipped with Amadeus Rail Display can access all of the domestic content from the German rail company.

Amadeus Rail Display is designed in collaboration with travel agencies and railways to match their daily reality and the market evolution.

This integrated graphical interface simplifies the way rail services are displayed and allows real-time availability and fare comparison in one single view.

This next generation solution aims to distribute the entire European rail services on a single platform, with a common reservation flow across the entire sales process, from the initial search and booking through to invoicing, just like in the air world.

Georges Rudas, CEO Amadeus France:

"This new agreement is the logical continuation of a permanent collaboration between our two companies. With Deutsche Bahn we share a common goal to strengthen the rail travel market, and we demonstrate it today. At Amadeus, we designed Amadeus Rail Display closely with our customers and our rail partners, we are very pleased with the result: today we are building a rail platform that serves travel agencies."

Bénédicte Langlais-Richer, Managing Director, DB France:

"This collaboration meets the challenges of Deutsche Bahn in terms of distribution of its offer on the French market. An interesting fact to acknowledge is that Rail Display is also used by DB France for its own bookings".
