OneTwoTrip, one of the largest online travel services in Russia and across Eastern Europe, is announcing the start of European rail ticket sales. The project has been implemented thanks to Amadeus rail booking solutions for travel agencies.
European rail travel accessible for everyone
In addition to Russian rail tickets, users of the OneTwoTrip website can book a number of European rail carriers from countries such as France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Norway, Austria, and Kazakhstan. OneTwoTrip customers can now purchase international rail tickets using a familiar rail booking engine. Offers include railways such as Eurostar, Renfe or Trenitalia as well as other key players in the European rail industry.
To buy a ticket, customers only need to enter a destination, departure location, trip date, and the number of passengers. The rail reservation system will display all available options and will offer to sort them by departure time, journey time or price. Railway tickets will be sent to an e-mail address and saved in an online account.
"Working with Amadeus helps us to develop multimodal travel. Thanks to the new joint project, we will be able to offer our clients the most convenient and cost-saving travel routes." Dmitry Panshin, Head of Project Office, OneTwoTrip
A new service level for leisure and business customers
The refined OneTwoTrip rail tickets search and rail booking solution will provide a completely new level of service for both leisure and business travelers. They will no longer need to spend time trying to understand the process and purchasing terms to buy tickets on railway companies' websites or at a local railway office.
Amadeus rail platform provides transparent fares and a wide range of rail travel options; it also makes booking rail travel easy and hassle-free.
"Our cooperation will give travelers, even more, freedom when planning their trips. Amadeus Rail makes booking a rail ticket to travel across Europe on the OneTwoTrip website as simple as booking a plane ticket. A step towards a more accessible travel future" Denis Demsky, Amadeus Merchant Content Commercial Account Manager for Russia, Armenia, and Belarus
