Our host country the Czech Republic has been one of the first markets opening access to passenger rail competition in Europe with several railways operating within the same territory. The country has already experienced the challenges of deregulation such as infrastructure capacity, tariff integration and pricing strategies. It will be the perfect place to discuss better quality and higher frequency of services and lower prices for customers.

The city of Prague itself is the ideal starting point to visit other major European cities by train. Prague’s main railway station Hlavni Nadrazi, serves as an international rail hub to travel to both Western and Eastern-European Countries. On top of that, Prague is the city of a Hundred Spires, a UNESCO monument and one of the most beautiful cities in the world, full of ancient history.

The Amadeus Rail Innovation Forum will take place at the Corinthia Hotel Prague. The hotel has its own driveway connected to the main highway which leads to Prague, Brno, and Vienna and divides the city of Prague (North/South). It has direct access to one of the underground stations which makes it easy to commute with other transport hubs, like the main train station Hlavni nadrazi, only 3 stops away and the main bus station Florenc, 4 stops away.

If you are travelling by plane, it is a ca. 35-minute drive from the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague.
